Happy New Year

I hope everyone had a lovely Christmas however you celebrated and your New Year was not TOO big to get over.
We had two Christmases.  One on Christmas Day with all our 5 kids and my In Laws and friends that had no family to celebrate their day with so I *HAD* to have them join our MAD bunch.
Such a lovely day and I enjoyed having my kids with me this year :)
The 2nd one was on Boxing Day with My Husbands siblings.
(This will NOT be happening again - too much work)
27th December was spent having a picnic lunch at our Zoo
Lovely day but a bit hot. So we were home early.
28th was relaxing by a friends pool and catching up on some stitching
 31st was my BIG BOY's 21st Birthday
He has a few too many drinks and came home early (very sick)
We plan to have a 21st birthday party later this month.
Hopefully he'll remember this one.
My 2nd week of holidays is slowing coming to an end but luckily I have another week after dropping step-son's back to Victoria where they live now and Hubby goes back to work.
"LOOK OUT SEWING ROOM"
I plan to get back to see everyone's blogs soon too :)

Sounds like a great Christmas to me - family, friends, food. Happy Birthday to you son. We were at Dubbo Zoo early last January - it was 42 when we arrived in Dubbo and cooled down the next day to 37 for our zoo visit. There were lots of showers during the day to cool us off as we were riding our bicycles around.

Happy new year, and happy 21st to you and your son! Great that you got to share so much of the holidays with friends and family, followed up by some quiet stitching time.
