Happy Mothers Day

Happy Mothers Day to all the wonderful Mums out there. Hope you spend a little time in the sewing room or stitching as well as time with your family.
I certainly miss my Mum today and everyday

Photo before church were always taken and then another one with Dad in his Cricket clothes. Mum and I on my (1st) wedding day.

I've been so busy with work and lots of Internet problems so blogging has been on hold. Lets hope I can get it fixed soon.

Sad To Say Goodbye

My sister made the very brave decision to turn off her Husbands life support on Monday Night.

She had her three beautiful daughters to support her also a gorgeous little Grandson to help distract her.

Prayers please for a miracle

Our family needs your prayers today

My brother-In-Law (my elder sisters husband) has had an allergic reaction to the relaxant before a small day surgery operation on Tuesday Night.
CPR had to be administers and he is now in an induced coma in ICU.
Although high hopes were held for his recovery, I was with my sister and her three daughters yesterday when they were given the sad news that there is now a small percentage now that he will pull through.
Such a shock for the whole family. We are now wishing and prayer for a miracle.
Please send many prayers out to them xxx

Dragonfly & Thimblestitch get together

Susan bought her Son and his friends over to the One Night Stand Concert today.
Instead of having to sit in her car and dine and stitch by dashboard lights, she arranged to catch up with me.
We had a lovely dinner out and then back home for a cuppa/Tim Tam and some stitching.
Oh and of course just a bit of chatting LOL.
So nice to catch up Susan. Hope the boys liked the concert and their Maccas for the trip back home.

FIS Natalie Bird Swap -Sent

I used these French General Fabrics to make
Natalie Bird's Red Book Bag for Lynda
I included a little box bag & note pad too
Loved the way it turned out although I made a few
silly mistakes along the way.  Nothing that couldn't be unpicked
Loved all the fabrics. I did want to keep it for myself :)
Loved the very fitting stitchery
I included some pockets on the inside too
